FEAR On The Rise

FEAR On The Rise

Empty eyes and soulless stares

No one questions, no one cares

Overtaken, clutched by fear

Quite content to disappear

What is a life consumed by fear

Devoid of those that you hold dear

Lose your purpose, next your will

Governors plot to silence and kill

Headline news… apocalypse now

Angry tyrants snarl and growl

Spread the fear spread the lies

“They’ll believe them in good time”

When will the masses wake up to find

Twas a game played on the mind

A social contagion, a falsely led nation

Now blindly led to our demise

Fear On The Rise

I snapped this photo in Jim Thorpe. I felt like this picture was representative of everything we’re going through right now. Much like that tunnel, things feel cold, dark and unfamiliar. Each step is a risk. Inside I came upon a bird’s nest, three baby birds were being fed. It was so beautiful. And when I turned around this was what I saw. It was a breathtaking reminder that there is always light in the darkness, you just have to choose to see it.
